Under 9s v Plymouth Argyle - HOME - Lost 4 - 1

Exeter started well and had two good chances in the first five minutes but didn't manage to maintain that level from there on. Jack Thomas and Josh Pinn both played well for the Grecians.

Under 10s v Plymouth Argyle - HOME - Won 7 - 2

The young Grecians gave a very convincing and dominant display against visiting Plymouth Argyle. It was the Devon rivals that started brightest in the opening minutes but determined defending denied them any early advantage and from then on Exeter were in complete control. City took the lead when Nathan Aiston got the first goal of his deserved hat trick. Composure on the ball and confident, patient passing was too much for Plymouth to handle. Mika Morgan was lively up front and scored two goals with Will Richards and an own goal completing the scoring.
Man of the Match - Mike Morgan

Under 11s v Plymouth Argyle - AWAY - Lost 6 - 2

City were slack at the outset, conceding in the first minute, but thereafter the match was evenly contested for 40 minutes. Plymouth added a second but City pulled one back after Ollie Avery-Wright gambled on a Goalkeeper's mistake and was rewarded with a tap in. In the second period City took the game to their opponents with some excellent passing without creating any scoring opportunities. This was to prove costly in the third period when City capitulated and conceded three without reply. There was some consolation in the final period, despite conceding a penalty Exeter kept going and Jack Hocking forced a defender to make a mistake that Ollie Avery-Wright seized upon for his second goal.

Under 12s v Plymouth Argyle - AWAY - Lost 2 - 1

Exeter gave one of their best performances of the season and only some
bad luck and poor finishing prevented them from winning the match comfortably. With no recognised goal keeper available Louis Cane and Kyle Howell took turns in goal for City and did a great job. After going two goals down against the run of play Matt Jay finished a fine flowing move to pull one goal back for Exeter but despite their best efforts they could not force an equaliser. Outstanding performances from Ollie Watkins, Jordan Ford and Joe Fath.

Under 13s v Plymouth Argyle - AWAY - Drew 1 - 1

This was by far Exeter's strongest and most impressive performance of the
season. Luck was against the young Grecians again this week as another missed penalty denied them a victory. Good performances by Thomas Tricker, Matt
Clark and Andrew Parker with Stefan Paull scoring for City.

Under 14s v Plymouth Argyle - HOME - Lost 2 - 1

Both sides worked hard in the first twenty minutes without any real quality being shown. City struggled to find their passing rhythm but were trying to retain possession and be creative with the ball. A goal from Matias Morgan left the scores at 1 - 1 before indecision in the City defence allowed Argyle to take the lead. In the final period Exeter finally clicked into gear with their passing and the Grecians took control of the match. The best chance of an equaliser came from a corner but was squandered with a header wide from two yards.

Under 15s v Plymouth Argyle - HOME - Lost 2 - 1

The opening two periods produced lots of excellent, bright passing movement from City without a cutting edge in front of goal. Despite the Grecians dominating possession it was Arglye who opened the scoring with Paul Gibbins in the City goal beaten when his defenders allowed a free header in the box from a set piece. In the third and fourth periods the fluency disappeared from City's play and the physical battle was edged by Argyle who grabbed a second goal in the final period. City pulled one back via an own goal and despite some late pressure could not force an equaliser.

Under 16s v Plymouth Argyle - AWAY - abandoned after 45 mins - score 1 - 1

The heavy rain disrupted this match which had to be abandoned at half time. City had taken the lead when Sean Holden was quickest to a bouncing ball in the Argyle penalty box but were pegged back when a loopy cross from the Plymouth right caught the wind, deceived everybody and nestled in the Exeter net. Sean Holden played well in midfield while Callum Somers and Jordan Edgecombe looked bright in attack for the Grecians. Both Holden and Somers looked close to their best form after a season interrupted by injuries.
