Exeter started at a high tempo and took the lead when a 25 yard lob by Oliver Avery-Wright beat the Robins keeper. The Grecians second goal came after some excellent build up play and was well finished by Jack hocking. City dominated the game and in the final period the pressure on the visitors goal resulted in two more goals. A very well deserved win and more importantly, a well deserved clean sheet.

City were slow out of the traps and found themselves behind following a long range strike. Sean Goss finished off a good move to make it 1 - 1 but Exeter were soon behind again. From here on the Grecians had the better of the match, a good run and cross from Jacob Harris led to an own goal and with the scores level City pushed for a winner but to no avail.
Man of the Match - Sean Goss
Under 13s v Swindon Town - HOME - Lost 3 - 0
The Grecians involved 7 trialists this weekend and all of them showed signs of promise but despite a competitive start to the match the City team was not cohesive enough to get anything out of a tough game against Swindon. Jake Ramday up-front caused the Robins defence problems and Callum Ellis in defence along with Christy Pym in goal kept Swindon in check for long spells.

Exeter were very disappointed to come away from this game with only a draw after a first half where City played some of their best football of the season, Liam Ellis at centre half inparticular set the tone for the team with his best 45 minutes this year. After conceding an early goal Exeter passed the visitors into submission, played out from the back and spent very long spells camped attacking in the Swindon half, but all without taking their chances. A Jordan Edgecombe strike left the scores level at half time but City should have been out of sight. In the second half Swindon again got an early goal but this time Exeter could not find a way to overpower the visitors and a competitive second half ensued where both sides had chances. City did get a deserved equaliser and then had 3 or 4 good chances to win the game but again couldn't apply the finishing touch.
Man of the Match - Liam Ellis
