Billy Blood meets new friends at the Park
The National Blood Service, without which there wouldn''t be vital and life saving blood available in hospitals, sent it's mascot, Billy Blood Drop out to St. James' Park, home of newly promoted Exeter City, to see if he could find some new friends to play with and help him find blood donors.
Billy met Steve Perryman MBE, the ex Spurs and England legend now "The Grecians" Director of Football and he also met a real friend in George Friend, a member of the Club's playing staff who came through the academy ranks at Exeter City to play at Wembley.
Steve said, "Billy is a really nice lad who could go far but he needs the help of all the people around to donate for him and save lives. Who knows when any one of us needs blood, so I hope everyone helps Billy do his job and become a star".
