Central defender Danny Seaborne has agreed a contract extension until the end of next season, 2009/10. Manager Paul Tisdale was obviously delighted that Danny has committed his future to the Grecians, "This is another major boost to the football club, another one of our home grown talent putting pen to paper.  I'm expecting Danny to thrive in the Football League"

Meanwhile the boss has named his provisional starting line-up for the game at Truro on Tuesday evening, a game that will see Marcus Stewart make his debut. Also starting for the Grecians is 23-year-old central defender Jamie Bishop, on trial from Arbroath. He started his career at Dunfermline and was Arbroath's player of the year last season. Also in the line-up are City youngsters Lewis Tasker ans Scott Bennett. The line-up at Truro is as follows:

Marriott, Bishop,Martin,Sercombe,Bennett,Tasker,Panther,Cozic,Stewart,Watson and Shephard.

All the trialists that were with the club have now been released although one or two may be invited back in the future.
