Requesting personal appearances by players and staff
Exeter City is more than willing to consider any request for players or Football Club staff to attend events as part of its commitment to being a community club. To this end a procedure has been set up for supporters, groups and organisations to complete and submit a simple request form. The form can be downloaded by clicking the link below or picked up at the Club. By giving the Club sufficient notice and detail not only will you have the best chance of securing the requested attendance but also the Club can do its best for your event.
Why the need to fill in a form?
The Football Club, by its very nature, has many points of contact with fans and the community. This means that many different informal methods have developed for requesting players. Unfortunately this can easily lead to duplication of effort or communication problems and create situations where a simple human error or a wrong assumption can cause huge disappointment. Some appearance requests may be easy to organise, others less so, but all requests are best considered if the Club has enough prior notice and information. It is also better for whoever has made the request that they are sure it has gone to the right person.
With the help of this procedure, players and staff can attend events whilst also remaining focussed on getting the best results on the pitch.
